  • Amazing performance, we're not likely to see a cpl like that again, so suck it in.

  • I can think about weighty issues to this music. It's fortifying like buttered toast and a beer.

  • beautiful

  • As usual, Rawlings just "bleeds" into this tune. He's on another planet on this one man...youd think hed break the neck on that thing honestly. Just amazing!

  • Why are they so good? Well look at her smile when he jams, and look at him get into the jam when she is singing. They feed each other, its fantastic. A match made in sonic heaven. I hope its a really long and blissful union.

  • wooden music soothes the soul, what an incredable duo!

  • Maybe I'll just move to North Carolina to catch them practicing... (sorry, being silly) I am addicted. Thank God for these two. I know it's in her blood, even if she's from California. My folks are from Alabama, and I was born in Cali. Wish I was back east..... gonna go, packin my guitar...

  • Also, re: this song...

Early on, some critics questioned Gillian's "authenticity"...she wasn't from the hills, nor the South, wasn't even a farmers' or miners' daughter. Was she just paying hollow tribute to the musical form?

Here, (as in "Everything Is Free") she communicates not only how that felt, but how she will deal with it. In doing so she shows she's perfectly connected not only to roots music, but to the human things that music is connected to. Bless her, time has been the Revelator.

  • I missed them here at Kingsbury Hall in September "Concert of the Year!" is all. Never felt dumber or more out of touch.

  • @EarthAdvocate And I pretty much hate myself for missing it. I have seen them a couple of times before, though. I won't miss them next time around.
