  • internet is not for kids. when i was little my parents did not let me to go to the internet unsuperwised. there was password stoping me from login in there so and that kept me out. that easy. you children are not soposed to play with your computer. internet is soposed to be open, no kids in the net please. but we know that they know its bullshit the claim that internet is dangerus 4 kids. they just use that to censor things that they dont like.

  • @gooddarkjedi

I grew up using unlimited internet uncensored as a kid. Now I am a web developer focusing on usability and security. One may argue that the internet is 'not for kids', but without growing up in the way I did I never would have acquired the skill I had by this point in my age.

  • stop the leaking pipe by turning off the main valve. Unfortunately it turns off the water supply also.

  • And apparently that's a "small price" to pay.

  • Stephen with his argument of " if you against me taking your rights, then your a pedophile and love Child porn" And her argument of Some is better then non. Is bullshit. Some is better then none would be a good argument. If this filter worked %100 and was in no way corruptible like the blacklisted sites that were politically motivated and were not illegal in anyway.

  • A load of crap about the child porn. I challenge peopel to FIND some on the Web or Net WITHOUT first joining a pedo ring. Criminals don't put ads in the Yellow Pages, so it is absoluely stupid to assume that real child porn is available via a Google Search. If you even type those keywords, you'll find articles such as this! The only way to find all these criminalised content is to KNOW where it is - you do that by being part of those communities, like any other case.

  • @docjor I agree, Australia used to have some individuality, now culturally we are the product of foreign media and the government seems to be mimicing the USA and China in every way they can.

  • @coolgeek7

no, torrents will be blocked, they are blocking anything that can be considered "criminal" or even references anything they deem "criminal" can and will be blocked. Since torrent sites provide pirated material, they will be blocked, even sites that just link to banned sites will be blocked. No more torrents, even the legitimate ones that don't break piracy laws, if they are on the same sites as the blocked ones..

  • I know this is ridicules (I know i spelt it wrong) but i still could not help but lol when the news reported at the end said "I agree" Gamers and even PARENTS think this is a bad idea.

  • 1% false label as porn

1% of the internet at the moment is still over 20 million websites blocked wrongly.

If you want to protect your children form questionable material turn the fucking pc off stop using it as a babysitter.

  • Well you idiots voted Labor in, based on shows like the 7:30 report telling you that conservatives are evil. Cheers for that hey.
