Today, Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice visited the Mexican foreign minister, Patricia Espinosa.
An estimated 4,000 people have been killed due to drug-related violence in Mexico this year, with a significant rise in recent weeks.
Rodolfo de la Garza, a Columbia University political science professor, speaks with Martin Savidge about the U.S. connection to Mexicos surge of drug violence. De la Garza attributes this violence to increased state challenges to the drug cartels in areas they claim to control.

  • The violence is related to Muslim terrorists, Venezuela and the Russians to destabilize Mexico, the border and the USA.

  • If there is an ending market for a product there will always be some to supply and if the profits are high there will always be someone to take that risk.

  • I would say Mexican drug violence is connected to Cuba and Florida.

    Raul Castro and his partners in Florida hate Mexico! International Intelligence agencies have many evidences that the US media hides.
