My easy-to-use accounting system using what I call "green-and-white sheets" (these come on a pad and can be purchased at any office supply store). I basically keep a check register and then have my categories for breaking down the debits/credits.

  • You say $600 however eBay & amazon don't report your sales to the IRS unless you do 200 transactions or $20,000 in sales. Paypal will report if both those occur (200 transactions & $20k). Thanks for showing your method. Always nice to see how others are doing it.

  • @shrks1fan I don't mess with the IRS! I have a business account and all Amazon/PayPay money is deposited into that and tax forms issued at the end of every year. I actually DO have over 20K in sales a year. Even if I didn't, though, I'd still keep track and report everything to be safe. :-)

  • Thanks for sharing how you keep a record of your sales. I'm always looking for new ways to keep my records.
