Congressman Don Manzullo (R-IL) questioned General Stanley McChrystal, Commander of US forces in Afghanistan, and U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry during a Foreign Affairs Committee hearing about the prevalence of American soldiers, sailors and airmen facing prosecution for simply doing their jobs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Manzullo mentioned the case of three Navy Seals facing court martials for allegedly punching a terrorist, as well as the power of the International Criminal Court to prosecute U.S. troops outside of our jurisdiction.
