Star Ocean: First Departure- Ancient Guardian (Universe)

Here's the Ruin Guarder, he's back and he looks alot like he does in the SNES version.

Well, I like how they made him alot harder in First Departure, and, that they actually designed a tough boss in the old generation of SO games. Whenever he attacks he's temporarily invincible, this is to prevent you from stunlocking him to death, although Multiple Punch's hold seems to stop him.

Check out his Dhaos Laser, good thing it didn't hit Ioshua lol.

After you beat him you get a ton of goodies including Divine Fury SFT for Ilia, and the Elven Slippers, probably the best footwear for Ilia/Mavelle/mages, make sure to Replicate it.

_L 0x00000001 0x0000004F Replace the (2) in 0x00000002 with 1 for Galaxy Mode (1.5x enemy stats) and 0 to go back to Earth mode (1x stats). I didn't make this code, I found it on Gamefaqs boards.

@Tomxel the universe part is about the difficulty of the game. there's earth, galaxy and universe. universe is the hardest difficulty

just in case, this isn't the same as star ocean second story. It's a remade of the original star ocean(for snes) with the same graphic and game-play of second story
