Recent experience with these damn junk mail advertisers. I will not let it ruin my recovery but to a compulsive gambler it doesnt seem right.

  • interesting video. I'v e been watching your videos and found them really interesting as a fellow gambling addict, mainly because I can sympathise with a lot of the stuff your saying. I can see how that disk really ruined your day. I genuinely feel that we are responsible for our addiction, not the actual sites. However, that shouldn't mean that they can send you this rubbish through the door. It doesn't sit well with me.

  • Would it be impossible for you to play online poker and confine yourself to the freeroll tournaments? They have these tournaments every hour, they cost nothing to enter, all you risk is your time, and you could win some real money with some luck.

I've received a couple hundred e-mails from online casinos offering from $30 to $1,000 free chips to play with, no deposit required. The ones that offer bonuses on deposits I just delete, there's too many offering free chips not requiring deposit..

  • I have got junk mail like that myself over the years, usually it has been from sites I have used but sometimes it has been from ones I have not so I just assumed these companies can share customers details amongst themselves, probably part of the small print when you sign up.

Because of the new gambling Legislation companies can advertise on TV and Radio legally now but I am not sure if they can do it the way you got it....will be very worrying if they can!.

  • I can see a massive gambling problem escalate in this country over the next years. you see bingo advertised on TV in a way that is attracting housewives/elderly people to join a "social network"....it is very worrying but I guess I will save that for a video some time ;-)

  • Great video mate, thanks for sharing. I could only imagine what all you went through when that disk came in.

There's part of you that was probably shocked and outraged, but then another part of you probably started tingling and re-dreaming wildly in a way that many of us compulsive gamblers would. Kudos to you for knowing that it would have destroyed the right path that you've been on, and set you back light years in the long run had you relapsed.

    Well done friend. Cheers!
