nah man these people arren't "geeks" or losers. All of these media icons are things people have grown up with. A lot of these games and TV shows/ comics are a really popular culture now. I think its cool, and they're obviously making loads of money at these things.

Their a form of entertainment which you may like or dislike. Very much like video games, or sports etc
Don't forget that comics have been around for quite a long time now. Were talking about storys still leading on from the 70's, characters from then and even before still living on today.
