@innoutbugs Red Blood cells are sacks of hemoglobin. hemoglobin comes from people who love their fellow man so much that they would sacrifice their very own life blood to save the life of another. JWs have created a demand for more people to donate blood since they have been accepting clotting factors and every other part of blood in the form of fractions. Jehovah's Witnesses accept blood. It is as simple as that. They just can't admit it. And now it is no longer a DFing offense.

@innoutbugs If it is donated blood, IT IS BLOOD. Only in your imagination do you pretend it isn't blood. If the Watchtower told you blood was green cheese you would believe that. So it doesn't really matter what science says, you believe the Watchtower come hell or high water.

You do have a problem with this religion,and its obvious! If you dont want to be one of them ,then just go do your thing -move on. I think the rest of the world can figure out what they want. You dont need to bash any religion. JW are some of the kindest and more honest people I know.Seriously dont u hv something better to do?

HBOC (synthetic blood) can comes from different sources.RBC- expired human blood, RBC-cow blood,Human Placenta,Genetically modified bacteria-that produces Hemoglobin- not from blood source.

Plasma is the fluid that carries cells through out the veins. There are many elements to blood,and it would take some time to break everything down in layman terms (non medical) for everyone to understand. The point is not one component by itself ,or in p(hemoglobin) dont change.When these proteins are removed from blood they are just 2artial combination makes blood. It doesnt matter if its taken from blood.

I watched this video,and I have to say that there is some misconception here. Hemoglobin by itself is not blood !! Hemoglobin is 2 similar proteins that allow the red blood cell to carry oxygen. One is Alpha ,the other is Beta. Normally,there are 4 genes in Alpha & 2 in Beta.Both of these are made in equal amount. This protein chain join in in making red blood cells. A,B,O & Rh are the common blood types most people are aware of. A,B,O,& Rh are properties of the membrane.
