NOw did that spikes lower require any modifications to it, I mean the reciever itself. I emailed spikes tactical and they said th lightning link should have enough clearence already. Could you verify this. Thanks man

@760guy It's not really correct. Every lower receiver will require a minor amount of material to be removed by the fire control group. Otherwise the LL barely will touch the receiver. Check out m60joe(dot)com and look at his pictures.

@altrafirearms RLLs are perfectly legal. It isn't a RDIAS, it's a RLL. Lightning links are not made to the gun and all SWD lightning links were exactly the same. SWD was the only manufacture prior to the FOPA. You're a fucking tool bag. I have plenty of videos shooting off hand. Who gives a crap. Oh, thats right, you do.  You must be one of those bad ass super tactical elite operators who spends the vast majority of their time in your mother basement playing COD.

@altrafirearms Thank you for your insiteful comments. First, it is a Registered Lightning Link. There isn't any way to get 3rd burst with a RLL. It's either 0-A with a regular AR15 fire control group or 0-1-A with a modified M16A2 fire control group. My finances aren't really your business but if you must know, I work my ass off to have toys. Some people have a motorcycle or a boat. I decided to buy a machine gun. I hope that's okay with you.

At the risk of sounding stupid....What do I have to do to Legally acquire one of these Lighting Link's ? Is this something I would need to have a Class III Licence to acquire...or can this be done threw a Title II tax stamp?

Is there a purpose for fully automatic fire? I don't mean this as an accusation, I just want to know what the main uses for full auto fire are when semi could not suffice, if there are any
