Great camera angle. This is a gyro ball.

A gyro ball is a straight pitch, like a fastball. The effectiveness comes in the spin, as it is impossible for the hitter to read the pitch.

Gyroball isn't suppose to sink either... It looks like it's sinking but its actually raising.. a gyro ball spins in a clockwise or counter clockwise motion. The video is slowed mo so you can see that affect. Sink, move or raise, whatever it is... if it spins like that its a gyroball...
