  • If that is the Nadina brand, I found it online for about $2.50.

  • It is by Nadina. If you found one pound for $2.50 that's great but how much was shipping?

  • I do not like the nutty smell of Shea Butter. I switched to Qhemet Biologics Alma and Olive Oil Heavy Cream. It is a Natual product and is design for very dry kinky hair. Check out their site!

I like using it because I can combine it with IC Fantasia gel and the Alma Cream does not crumble in the hair.

Shea Butter products sometimes leaves yellowish crumbles when you use it with gel.

    Thanks.

  • I don't like Qhemet Biologics Amla heavy cream, it's too heavy for my hair. Glad it works for you though :)

I would never use shea butter with gel because most gels tend to have a high content of water and it doesn't mix well with the shea butter, at least not when you mix it yourself in the hands..so that's why you get that result.

  • I love your hair in this video...looooves it

  • thanks! it shrunk up soo much after I was done recording bit it was nice during the video lol

  • If you are using too much heat, it can permanently straighten your hair

  • Buy free trade shea butter. Buy pure unrefined shea butter, not the white refined shea butter.

  • do cut always cut the stringy hair

  • what store did you purchase yuor shea butter from?

  • I stink at mixing my own batches, but I'm going to try because these online companies cost too much! I hope my hair will respond well to my mix.

  • I found shea butter to be extremely greasy and oily and it leaves my skin feeling all sticky. In addition to that, I have never seen any benefit from using it. I bought two pounds because everybody was raving about it. So, I have been using for months, like I said, it doesn't moustirize my skin (the next day it's very dry and flaky) even though it leaves it disgustingly greasy . Do u have to apply it on perfectly dry skin or you can put it after the shower when your skin is still a little damp?

  • How can you tell which kind of hair you have?

  • The shea butter I just bought from this African store smells like the wooden toy blocks I played with in kindergarten. I hope this is the real one.

  • Thank you for doing this. I really need something that will actually moisten my hair and scalp. The only thing I use on a regular is coconut oil and knot today leave-in, but my hair never retains moisture. I've tried other products in between like curls milk shake (my hair and scalp didn't like it) thanks

  • you got the fake king sista...it should not be white...americans makes shea butter and die it yellow

  • great video...

  • french vanilla essential oil. Good idea. I am using coconut oil for now.
