  • Very good tutoria, and very good method of 3D in AE!!!

Any videos of how to motion track 3D text in AE? (I can only motion track it to 2D text)

    Tks

  • @FiloPrideYepImFilo Thanks brother, you just solved some very frustrating problems of mine.

  • I still have the background picture showing around the text on mine, with the text shattering out from the centre of the background picture. How do you get rid of the background picture from around the text? Cheers.

  • I have an older version of After Effects (v 5.5) that doesn't have the text tool. I tried your shatter effect method by creating a solid with basic text, but it wouldn't work. I tried importing text from Photoshop and put a luma key on it, that didn't work either. Any idea of how I can create 3D text in my older version of After Effects? Good stuff by the way! :-)

  • wow! this is so enlightening :)) thankyou!

  • so how do you put it into a video?

  • brilliant! :D

  • thnx, its an amazing vid!

  • heee toooo excited

  • Can a vector mask (made in photoshop) be used used instead of a .png file for the shape of the 3D text/logo? If, how? I'm not quite pleased with the result the .png file gave with its rugged edge.

I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me with that.
