Last March of the Jabberwocky

Inspired by Tim Burton's vision of Alice in Wonderland, I set off to create a musical recreation of the battle between Alice and the jabberwocky. After a couple months of practicing and patching what this endeavor should sound like, I decided to finally make a video. Here it is, and I hope you enjoy it. I might not be the greatest keyboardist in the world, but I know my patches. ^_^

well, I don't know how it would have sounded of course, but this way it looses a whole lot more I think. Or if you need to record it with a mic, do it in a room which is made for that purpose ;)

I have no idea if this sounds good now, it could just be rebirth now ;)

@KittyGotSued I don't have access to a room designed for recording with a mic. Eventually I want to pad the room with studio foam...but that's a long way off from happening. Thanks for the comments!

please use a line out for recording this. A mic in a room doesn't do it justice.

@KittyGotSued Sadly, this particular piece required a mic in a room. A line out wouldn't have caught the key snap that is so vital to this particular recording. However, I will keep a line out recording in mind for future videos. Thanks for the comment! ^_^

@IraqIsWhack 3:25 or thereabouts is where the fight really gets heated, and Alice has a bunch of near misses. The end of the battle starts at 4:42 or so...the last bell tolls being the Jabberwocky's head falling down the spiral stairs.
