@Sakuno01 -- This ceremony is a Navy tradition and that is part of it. She is actually "marrying" the Navy because her husband is IN the Navy. We were waiting for the spank to happen!

@elwoodmorg2 o_0 really? then is not that weird that the groom wasn´t angry with that officer and also that everybody was laughing at it. (and why did all people laughed if they were specting it?) I don´t know how it is this ceremony in my country (venezuela) but if I were to marry a military and going through this I would rather prefer a friend of my husband to do it that a extranger :S. Military people certainly has such a extravagant rituals in weddings....

@Sakuno01 -- All of the officers holding the swords are in the groom's squadron and are his friends so it was all in the family, so to speak. Everyone in a uniform at this wedding is an officer.

@albinoclone All the sailors you see in this video are Naval Aviators that fly F-18 Superhornets.
