This is the first of two tutorials I promised you guys because you helped me win that DA contest. Sorry this took so long to upload. My computer isn't working well and Windows Movie Maker keeps crashing on me T_T

  • Thank you SO MUCH for making this. :) I've begun sewing more and more of my own cosplays and felt I was ready to graduate to big-girl sewing like using bias tape xD A lot of bias tape videos are middle aged women with quiet voices and they aren't entertaining or relatable. It's so much easier to listen to a fellow cosplayer :) Ordering a pack right now~

  • @tweety9102 If it isn't on the edge then you probably want a single fold. You may need to sew one side and then the other with just a simple straight stitch. But yeah, go single fold instead of double if it's not being folded over an edge.

  • @tusense How you sew it on if your making a sailor collar, and this tape isnt on the edge?

  • Great video! Thank you for posting it! Like someone else, I got about 3/4 way through a project and had never heard of bias tape in all my 30 years on this earth. I found your video very helpful and clear! I like the music, but probably because I'm a big J-rock fan so I always have a little of it in the background anyway ;-) Thanks again!

  • Thanks! This helped with a toddler hat I was making for someone!!

  • The music was Very distracting. It would have been a great video had it not been for that.

  • cool tutorial

  • @essexperson i agree..the music was too distracting..
