  • @MustangJohnG if a 302 was a bored out 289 and a 289 was a stroked 260, then that would mean you could bore and stroke a 260 to be a 302 (which you can't even bore a 260 that high)

  • @MustangJohnG OH and btw you can't make a 289 or a 302 out of a 260 block.. theres not nearly enough in the cyl walls to go to 4"

  • @MustangJohnG A 302 is not just a bored out 289. 289 bore = 4.005" and 2.87" stroke... ... . 302 bore = 4.005" and 3.00" stoke.

  • Nice mustang! Any mods done to the engine?? Seems to have 20 times the power of my 289.
