NEVER mount a TV above a Fireplace.
The TV will get to hot. The unnatural viewing angle is hard on your neck. Also hurts resale value of the house.

30 seconds for the tv lift to be complete. Wow, what idiot thinks that is a long time? If so, ever heard of a DVR?

Throw the bird in the fireplace and mount the TV to the wall..Why would you want to wait that long to watch TV..the show would be over by the time it was up..
