Testing out our office's new HD camcorder (720p). What better way to test it than on the picotope!

  • Are you using the light that came with the tank? Great video!

  • @drew1350

No, I didn't get my tank from a retailer, so it didn't come with the stock light. Instead, I have a 2x18w dual-satellite on it. Looking into upgrading to LEDs pretty soon, but not before I get another tank. This one is scratched up. Should have expected it, coming from Craigslist.

This tank has since been decommissioned. I used a 32w PC light (Current USA Dual Satellite), which I've now moved to my 2.5 pico at the office. MH would run too hot for anything too small. If you want light intensity, I'd recommend some LEDs through rapidled or PAR38 bulb from nanocustoms.

  • Beautfull !!! Perfect !!!! Tanks for sharing.

  • Omg you have the same species of Braerium as i do. Porcilin crabs wil host them???

  • Tank looks good. If I was you I would get rid of the hermits and just keep snails. That is just my experience with picos. Post more soon as the tank ages.
