Acura's SH-AWD System is put through its paces (alongside Audi's Quattro AWD, BMW's xDrive, Infiniti's Intelligent AWD, and Lexus' Active Torque Control AWD systems) at AET (Auto Enviro Testing) proving grounds in Baudette, MN.

NOTE: All of the crossovers shown were equipped with the base OEM tires. The silver TL SH-AWD 6MT was equipped with Michelin Alpin snow tires, and the dark colored TL SH-AWD shown later in the video was equipped with standard OEM all-season tires.

  • So here is the word. Acura purchased multiple vehicles for their testing. This was done in their own private grounds where they push their vehicles to the limit. It has been confirmed that the tires were OEM All season on ALL the cars. Also contrary to popular belief the Audi's and Lexus did not have any thing disabled. They were functioning at full capacity and capabilities. They just couldnt cut it. If you think otherwise , then I guess ignorance is bliss when you cant afford one right?

  • acura hands down over any suv. the truth. I had a q7 and X5...mdx is best in reliability, quality..etc. so now i buy Acura only

  • @chichkanovn I'm guessing if it were the Audi winning, you wouldn't object.

  • What kind of fuck up music is this????????????

  • At last: German / Japânish cars > usa cars

  • Something is not right! Audi should have no problems but I'm impress with the MDX! Nice.

  • doesn't go!!!

  • The MDX is the ultimate grocery getter! I drive my G35x(AWD) in the summer and just steal moms MDX in the winter, Acura SHAWD is a true winner among AWD systems.

  • @idrinorbarsaku i would like to know where those vids are!! plz!!

  • I think there's a catch, Audi engineers are not so stupid to leave the possibility of an SUV in the background. I think that the first two machines were on summer tires and the road was sprinkled with something.
