sorry for the hugely late response, hope you haven't already gone and climbed it! We went up to point lenana and back both on the sirimon route. it was in the summer of 2006 if my memory serves me correctly! and about filming it: I had no idea that cameras stopped working above a certain height lol! It was just using my normal digital camera (its nothing fancy at all!) At the top it did kinda stop working but i think that was more to do with the coldness (it just went really slow)
When did you do this? Where did you climb to and which routes did you take? Because I'm going on an expedition to Kenya in the Summer, and we are climbing Mt Kenya. We're goin to Pt Lenana up the Sirimon route and down Naro Moru. And one other thing; how did u film it? Because I have a camcorder that says it won't work above 3000m. Good video anyway.
