Documentário sobre Genie, uma das chamadas "crianças selvagens". Genie foi mantida por mais de 10 anos trancada em um quarto, totalmente isolada do mundo exterior. Após seu resgate ela foi objeto de estudo de uma equipe de médicos e psicólogos de uma universidade da Califórnia. Esse filme acompanha a trajetória de Genie ao longo dos anos e questiona os métodos aplicados em seu tratamento e estudo. O filme também aborda o caso de Victor, outra criança selvagem encontrada na França em 1800, cujo caso foi posteriormente retratado no filme "O Menino Selvagem", de Truffaut.

After her rescue she was studied by a team of doctors and psychologists at a university in California. This film follows the trajectory of Genie through the years and questioned the methods used in its treatment and study. The film also deals with the case of Victor, another wild child found in France in 1800, whose case was later portrayed in the movie "The Wild Child" by Truffaut.

We have lost this natural almost animal curiosity. Many of us are so used to routine that we forget how big is this world. We forget that we still have so much to unveil. We have the opportunity to improve and change everyday, but a simple move thats not safe is so hard to be done. We are so conditioned that we bound ourselves and we build walls around ourselves. And we die with a narrow mind, believing we lived a life full of awesome experiences. We are so delusional!
