Szevasztok Magyarok! STOCK manual 231 hp RX-8 0-153 kph (96 mph) on 1/4 mile in 14.48 sec!!!(a Ferrari 360 Spyder, 400 hp does 1/4 mile in 12.73 sec).. / 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 6.72 sec. (Factory: 6.4 sec.) / 0-128 kph (80 mph) in 10.13 sec. / 0-144 kph (90 mph) in 12.43 sec. / 0-150 kph (93.7 mph) in 13.94 sec. / 0-160 kph (100 mph) in 16.05 sec. / 0-176 kph (110 mph) in 19.92 sec. / 0-192 kph (120 mph) in 24.06 sec. / 0-200 kph (124 mph) in 27.23 sec (on less than 2/3 mile) and 0-209 kph (near 131 mph) in 32.93 sec (on other vid from me 32.1 sec. and 0-220 kph in 39.4 sec.) This car has a rotary-engine! This engine is very sensetive and very expensiv if you have to repair it! You shouldnt do this very often...in this RPM the engine rotates heavy and is very susceptible for damage. If you dont wanna go pour, be carefull! I work in a mazda service station and shit like this we have every day cause all these young drivers cant drive with engines like that. Rotary-motors are peaces of shit! Last one: When it sounds "beep" you are to late with shifting. Have a nice time

I know, that this is a rotary engine. The engine is NOT very sensitive if you know how you must handle it. It isn't too expensive if you rebuild your engine yourself.

Yes, over 8000 rpm the oilpressure is not enogh, i know that.

Many people say on forums (re8club.com, rx8-fan.de etc.) that people in Mazda services are inconfident and have no clue for rotary engine.

I'm 34 years old.

My car has actually 56000 km on the tacho without any prob. I drive it as hard as on the vid daily....

Rotary engines are not p.o.s. !! Problem is the lubrication of the apex seals with 5w-30 or 5w-20. Now i have installed the Richard Sohn adapter and dhe rotrs get clean two stroke oil from a seperated reservoir.

@corres78 LOL I have 350z, LS1 camaro, charger 1969 (my dad car), eclipse turbo buttt I had also the rx7 love it! but these engines don't have a lot of torque just hp I hate that part... but its ok the engine is sensitive mazda guy have the reason BUT every actually engine is a piece of shit iron block forever like 2jz my dad charger 383 stroker fully cam love it! just take it easy drive slow with caution and if a guy with a protege who work in mazda service want to race with you
