@TEAMxEPICxSPACE There were several Popes that wrote about stopping the slave trade. It was a Judeo-Christian society that stopped the slavery. islam has not stopped their slavery. yes, they said they would but as with all agreements, moslems break them because they do not honor their word.
The ones who are saying Christianity is bad are the moslems, social secularist/marxist/commies, and 'intellectuals' who carry that message and twist facts to carry out their agenda.

@mishrik Bull shit. Muhammad called black people "grape heads", and owned and traded black slaves. The hadiths speak much about the "white" of Mohammed's shown skin.
Slavery is part of the Sunna of Islam, and Mohammed the slave ower/trader (Egyptian slave-Mary even gave him a son) is supposedly the "best exemplar" to Muslim believers.
This is why up until late as 1962, Saudi openly practiced state-slavery! They still do it today under the disguise of "lost-passport guest workers".

As a Middle East researcher, I am disappointed in the level of disinformation on this topic. According to hadith Muhammad had one "slave" Zayd ibn Thabit, which he later adopted. Zayd often remarked that Muhammad never raised his voice to him, struck him, nor ever ask, why did you do such-and-such?" Whenever Muhammad purchased a slave, he would IMMEDIATELY set them free, i.e. purchasing their freedom. Muhammad stated, "No Arab is better than a Non-Arab and no White is better than a Black."
