Thinking of getting one of these. Mini version seems to sound good. I have a KP3 atm, but it won't fit onto my effects board. Anyone know if the mini version has auto bpm? It says it does on korg site but is not mentioned in online manual.

i was thinking exactly the same thing, as I DJ psy trance, and a mini kaos pad is cheap and VERY effective for all those wierd mixtures and beat alterations.

@slashgnrdoc this isn't strictly true, you can occasionally get weird beeps out of them and 4 effects or so allow you to play them, but its really limited without audio input

I.M.O. I believe the Korg Kaoss Pad Mini would be the best, because it gives a lot of classic DJ effects (Flanger, Echo, Beatgrid) as where the kaossilator would be nice, but its mainly more for music creation, it would be cool to have both because you could use the kaossilator to make little sub beats, chimes or chords. :P
