Its takes time for a music style to become stale to the human ear; about 15 years. The reason rap is still hear is because of money and force. The industry is making African Americans hear this junk. Notice that rock, metal music, and country is putting out new songs & musicians at a torrant pace while Blacks are only getting old music. Our art forms are dead. Nothing new has been produced on a mass scale in years. A few musicians (Biance, etc.) but not a mast variety.

American business owners are addicted to making money by selling cheap merchandise at the same cost of high quality. When it was discovered that Rap music sold the same numbers at the same cost, unfortunately it left a blood trail of quality, real music. As long as none musician kids off the street can make the execs the same amount of money you will never here real musician like Lisa Stansfield, Anita Baker, Prince, Sting, you name them, on the radio ever.

  • Oops for a split second I thought it was that woman in V...

  • Lisa Stansfield...One of a kind!!! Thank you for giving us great music to listen to, for over 20 years now. A big fan of yours from Greece.

Its about the cost of product. The rap artist cost pennies to pay and the same millions in return profit. A kid can rap junk on a CD and sell gold; cost 2 cents per dollar. A top artist would cost 50 to 60 cents on the dollar. Had a cousin that worked for Arista Records that explain what the hell is going on with popular music. When Corporations invaded the music industry it went from quality music to quantity and cost and they don't give a damn about the listeners.

  • No, Tatra 603 and Trabant and Volga as well.
