For sealant you need to use something like Mod Podge or Diamond Glaze, etc. Don't use a solvent based sealer like a spray sealer or it will eat up the ink.

I have the same question regarding a sealant, because my ink did rub off easily after it dried.

How long before it dries. Does the ink rub off eventually over time if it's on a chain worn around a neck? What is a good sealant to use?
