This video was originally produced in March 2007 as part of our Erickson Tribune video series.

At Riderwood, an Erickson community in Silver Spring, MD, gifts are truly shared to celebrate life. The Riderwood Friends of Habitat for Humanity are making life better for their neighbors in nearby Liganore Woods. Residents and staff worked to build cabinets and hammer away in Liganore Woods so that many deserving families could enjoy new homes. Watch as the Riderwood Friends of Habitat welcome the residents of Liganore Woods home.

  • This is an excellent video done by the Erickson Video Team for a Riderwood Friends of Habitat Build Day in March 2007. You will find some additional videos that our residents have produced about our Habitat for Humanity Cabinet Making Activities as well as other Build Days we have had with Habitat Affiliates in Montgomery County, the District of Columbia, and we hope soon to be in Prince George's County. These are found at "DocCow1" here in YouTube. Or by searching on the obvious keywords. JC
