I enjoyed watching all of your videos tracking progress on your new home. It must feel great to have everything finished and live-able. Just a couple questions- do you have power and plumbing connected to the city? I didn't see anything about off-grid sources in your videos. Also, how much did you have to work with local building inspectors? Did your first blueprint need to get approved, and each step (foundation, electric, plumbing, etc.) need to get approved also?

Thanks for the videos! I am getting ready to start building my house in the spring (Already purchased 20 acres of land) and have been researching different types of structures. Right now I am leaning towards a light steel framed house kit but do like the way you built yours.
Was there any issues with inspections? Have you had any issues with your house? That radiant heat work as well as you hoped? Insulation hold up pretty well?
