This is one of those songs that should be a solid rock classic -- doesn't matter who sings it. Carole King wrote many wonderful & timeless songs but there's something very Dylan / Beatles about this one & Carole was influenced by no one -- she existed before they did as a songwriter. I love Dylan & The Beatles -- but Ms King is a marvel as a songwriter. Chrissie Hyde has recorded one of her best vocals for this. Very proud of her. Great effort.
@spacepatrolman seen her recently live; pretty amazing sound; I didn't know about Roger's Jim neither that Carol King herself recorded the song - that has been on my mind since the first time I ever heard it - by the the Byrds that was. Thank U - communication does make sense !
@totovillefranche Originaly by carol king she did it with her group the city then roger mcguinn and his pet 12 string named jim did it with the byrds her voice sounds totaly differant from this to the james bond songs to the pretenders hits she has at least 4 differant voices

really suits her - fabulous composition from way back - jingle-jangle of the Rickenbacker 12-string; she ain't no punk anyway

Bonita canción. Estupenda voz. Esta mujer jamas deberia de jubilarse de la música, es necesaria para el mundo.
