I show you how to make a really cool knife using some basic tools and materials you can find at your local hardware store. Available on ebay #220891073749, no reserve.

  • What happens if you screw up?

  • @Mr556x45mm - Screwing up is inevitable at first! But with practice you can lessen the chances that it will happen. Just have a little patience.

  • About how much would the steel cost? I'm only 14 and don't buy steel alot.

  • @UltimateDrummersSite - I use 3/16" x 3" x 3' steel plate and it costs about $20.

  • jaydog your fucking kool. because of u i just found me a new hobby.

  • damn that's a awesome blade you made there!

  • cool make me a knife

  • sheath?

  • uhhhhh (scratches head) i dont think home depot sells carbon steal. i believe that they only sell mild-steal witch you cant harden.. so honestly your going to want to go on a knife making website and order something like 0-1 or w-1 little expensive but its worth it. you do want a knife that stays sharp.. right? or go to a flea market and buy some old files. :)

  • can i get the draws of the knife then im self gonna try make one :)

  • coolest knife ever seen :)

  • @Mr556x45mm

I think this vid is great...awesome...the only thing i dont like is the hole for your finger...cool but could be a problem....If this knife was used in self defense....a broken finger could result...or hand....or worse....ur work is important...u should always seek...improvment....u should be complimented...thank you

  • Nice design man i like it. Now after your all done the blade just before you sharpen it you should draw the temper from the steel in your kitchen oven. Pre heat it to about 450 to 500 degrees and put the kife in there till it turns to a nice golden straw color. That will put some strength back into the bladebe cause after you heat treated it you made it brittle and hard so tempering will slightly soften it up a bit.

  • Very Nice!!!

  • nice knife. I bet that it would look real good with a para cord wrapped handle.
