  • It was made out of 12 gauge, however the 2nd one I built was out of 14 gauge which was much lighter and worked just as well.

    I never did get the empty trailer to the scales. The guys I built it for said all loaded up full of gear for travel it was ~1,540 lbs.

  • Looks very nice Troy. Just FYI the gas shocks are mounted upside down. The seal will dry out and it will start to leak. Mounted the other way the oil in the main body will keep the seal lubricated.
