I just wanted to say that I REALLY enjoyed this video! I just subscribed and can't wait to see the others. Quick question....do you still do car designs? Might I ask where you're based out of? I live in St. Louis, MO and I'm looking to have some work performed.

I've always loved drawing, then in college I found my passion for charcoal creations. This video, however, has inspired me to really invest some time and money, as this seems so much more rewarding! Great vid!

  • wud u not draw this out in pencil forst? then go over it with the air brush?? if ya hav 2 know im new to this and only used pencils and paint in the past so just curious!

  • Hello, can you help me with my airbrush?...i have an eclipse CS, i use liquid watercolor paint and when i spray at about 25psi, it spray just fine, but when i increase the pressure to about 30psi paint sprays when i press down for air only...i checked the needle and its properly sitted on the nozzle, i dont want to force the needle in because i might break the nozzle...i also checked the nozzle and it also looks fine...can you help me what might be the problem with my airbrush?

    Thanks

  • Just for clarification, there are 'open-topped cups' for side-feed airbrushes. I use a side-feed Iwata and am able to do gradual shading by adding a couple drops to the open-topped cups. Thanks for all your efforts.

  • Fantastic video, thank you. Listening to you talk is very inspiring, you make me want to practice my artwork...

  • i was about to buy the iwata eclipse but i saw that they had like different models or something because i saw two and they had different numbers and the price was different,,if theyre different which one exactly is the one you use

  • great videos, very helpfull. i've always been a keen drawer and have just bought my first airbrush, quick question, if i draw with my left hand, should i hold the airbrush in my right and control with my left? or vice versa?

keep up the great work, very inspiring!

  • @SuperJPLR @SuperJPLR If it just quit putting out paint while you were spraying you probably have paint dried on the tip. Take off the aircap/nozzle ass'y and check. Wipe off the needle and you clean out the aircap/nozzle with a Q-tip wet with thinner, or you may have to use a VERY fine piece of wire. If all else fails, soak it overnight in thinner appropriate the paint you're using. I use ammonia for cleaning acrylics, lacquer thinner for everything else.
