Would've been a good trailer if you didn't GIVE AWAY THE FUCKING ENDING!

Seriously man, what is wrong with you?! you claim this is one of your favourite movies, so why the hell would you go out of your way to ruin it for everyone else?!

The reveal of what's really going on with the city is one of the most amazing twists ever put on film, and it's this movies money shot, and you've just slapped it in the fucking trailer!

I mean, what part of your brain thought that that would be a good idea?!

@E101ification have you seen the original trailer? you know, when its shots of spoiler after spoiler.

Watch any trailer. They all have spoilers, that kind of happens after you watch the movie. You notice them.

The fact that this spoiler does give so much away is actually sort of what makes it a "modern" version. So many trailers today give away every twist and turn of the movie.

Hardly any more spoilers here than the original trailer, plus the movie's old anyone who isn't spoiled yet has no excuse to get spoiled by this (if I can put it that way). let's all calm down, sit back, and appreciate this brilliant film - the perfect nightmare.

@E101ification + no, there are no spoilers even if it used the movie audio, they give you pieces from everywhere, but nothing that connects them, it intrigues you and makes you watch the movie, yours gives away evetything, the whole point, if i saw it i would be like "good idea, now i know it whole, don't have to watch", where with original trailer i was like "what the HELL is that? i HAVE to see it!"

@IvanBediting you can't make trailer to dark city. it's just impossible, there's no way to do any that wouldn't be shit compared to the original one. no offense, this is pretty good, but compared to original, it's shit because it can't be otherwise. and about the spoilers... notice that in original there is no audio from the movie, which is what makes spoiler scenes to be non-spoiler, you just don't know anything. here, you put all the audio that explains everything in it.

@vanishing446 agreed. It's best going into it actually thinking it's a crime thriller about an amnesiac serial killer. That's how it was with me when i first saw it, then when the freaky stuff starts happening...."wow" doesn't begin to describe it.

from then on it's a downward spiral of mystery, confusion and strangeness that is only lifted when they "break out" of the city, then everything makes sense and falls together.

One of the best twist reveals in film.
