It Also marks the moment, according to rabbinical scholars, when the sun returns to the spot in the sky it occupied during creation.
@david8808black in keeping w/ the the minhag of his uncle (at least this is what i am assuming) the old rebba, rav yoel put on a shtramiel for kiddush hachama...so i guess he wanted to b in line w/ this minhag and therefore his sons wore also
