@alma2sioux im sorry but ive only used GIMP the amout of times you can count on one hand. but im 13 years old, extremely advanced (my opinion) in ICT skills and i found this quite fun, even though, yes, i did have to rewind and play to understand but after an hour or two i got hang of it, and it has really helped me with using the GIMP interface. thanks @GimpKnowHow for this tutorial

Actually I have never used GIMP before and did this just fine with rewind. The only other tutorial I had to watch was a tutorial on layers, which I watched for about 20 seconds. Of course I have used Blender before, so maybe that knowledge transferred over.

GREAT VID.... BUT WHAT I DID WAS MAKE THE TEXT BOX LARGER AND TYPE THE NAME LOTS OF TIMES SO I DONT HAVE TO DO ALL THAT DUPLICATING

If you're a real newbie to GIMP its a good idea to start somewhere else. GKH is the real deal, awesome projects, but he leaves alot of step by step hand holding out. His tuts assume a level of understanding that pausing and rewinding aren't going to solve.
I started with GIMPtricks and only found GKH when I had gone through all 70+ of her tuts.
Starting with a GKH project is like driving in the Daytona 500 before you've had driver's training! (That's a compliment, GKH)
