Happy Rhodes - (Higher Quality) "Temporary And Eternal" live

THIS IS A HIGHER QUALITY version than the one k8fan has (k8fan's my husband so he doesn't mind). It's encoded at a higher quality, and the end doesn't cut off. His version* was the first thing he ever digitized, encoded and uploaded to YouTube, so we didn't know about the cutting off of ends thing.

Happy Rhodes performing "Temporary and Eternal" for the Living Room Concert series. With her is Kevin Bartlett and Carl Adami. This is the same version that ultimately appeared on her album The Keep.

*Our original of this was a dub of a dub from a VHS, so of course even the highest quality isn't going to be as good as having an original pristine copy, but we make do with what we have.

This was either recorded or broadcast (audio-only) on Tuesday, May 16, 1995. Happy also performed "Save Our Souls," "Summer," and "Hold Me" but no videos of them have ever surfaced.

I love this song!! I also like "Waking up" Buy hey, Where is Happy now? I looked for a web site but no....

I hope she did not succumb to drugs or anything like that...would be great to see her in concert.

@GnosisMan50 Never fear, Happy's not in a bad place. Quite the opposite. She got married and she and her husband moved to a farm in central upstate New York, where they run a business (Dangerous Music), and care for stray, sick and unwanted cats. It's quiet and peaceful and she's quite content. She might be back with more music someday, You Never Know. They had talked of building a home studio at some point.

@IamMohawk I never thought of the couple as a "couple" just as two separate people, but I don't know how Happy wrote it or what might have inspired it, so you could be right. They are dead though, yes.

This girl is truly a great singer/writer ...hope she does another record....and the players are terrific

@gojira2006 Why does he say he's "singing backup" - he's not singing?! Was he just testing the mic - he could have said something else? This could be misleading to someone who is new to Happy, by thinking it isn't her singing the low parts.
