  • @trentsmillmansion1 it's actually fallen barns where i have made some great recoveries. it was common when someone passed away in that period to store their items like weapons in the barn. they had many superstitions. when the Americans won at saratoga they had a great need for cannon balls but they wouldn't use the British balls captured because they thought it would bring bad luck. they were stored for years along the banks of the Hudson river. thanks bob lavoy

  • @Thatcrazykidbrendan i am actually humble but that doesn't help me find treasure.. years of research & relationships with people have gotten me on great sites. i document all my recoveries & share my finds with land owners. I'm blessed to be in an area that has great history. thanks bob lavoy

  • lol the guy isnt very humble... kinda ruins his finds

  • I would love to find a catch of gold coins. Something that would let me not work at a job but do what I want for a long time.

  • we find lot of material in fallen barns. many times when a person died they would put the weapons in the barn. i have found several old weapons & a powder horn in this manner. these can be in great shape when the items are protected from the elements by boards & material. thanks bob

  • Oh man, that would be soo awesome!! I am starting to look for abandoned homes near battlefields in va. Just seems like a logical place, and the owners usually give u permission.

  • Sounds like 'dispose items in a barn" My brother in law found a civil war cap and ball pistol in an old barn about twenty years ago.

  • at 6:59 it sounds like he says "it was quite common to find items in barns" .

    did i hear that right?
