what i know is that the judes will found a box in israel i think in damascus some where, and when they found that box the antichrist dejjal wil appear but i think thats noth the box , perhaps later they will fiend it
That is a shame that the dealer passed away! That's quite an interesting little artifact and I would've liked to know if there were any others like it out there!
Le lion et la vache doivent représenter la résurrection, le corps est un gisant mais ce n'est pas destiné à un membre d'un ordre militaire. C'est une urne funéraire pour une relique de saint (il s'en vendait des centaines au temps des croisades).
wow! pc. of History! that was amazing!

It is a fake copy. It is not old. Every antiques dealer can see that.

although , it could be the ox and lion .....the 4 evangelists were portrayed an an ox , eagle , lion and man .
the 4 kerubim or grade of angels (messengers /diplomats ) were each symbolically saiid to have a face of lion ox , eagle and man .
this could have been a container for small scrolls of the 2 evangelists ( john and mark , i think )

The Lion shall lay down with the Lamb ..thats the symbol on the side .
indicating a judgement day or "death" ,....hence I think its a funerary box , like an urn for ashes .
