actually the low speed performance we saw at the airshow was still not the maximum, what the J-10A is capable of. Even during its steep climbing at the take-off it barely used its canards.

@ac911007 All US, Russiam planes are copy from early German design, such as Hortan as B-2, ,,etc, avionic can't copy, cz it so advance from time to time, digital instrument, flying by wire... a fighter jet taking 18 years developping time like this J-10 FUI

@UtdRepsOfChina: Of course it uses its canards. The canards are not flapping wings ;) If you look at the Rafale or the Eurofighter or even the Gripen you see that the canards move a lot less strongly than one would expect.
