@DisRespect187 yeah man! it will make them about 1/3 quieter. i'll message you an link for some.

@chrstbelieving wow I never thought about that.... That might be a good idea.so your saying get 22 ohm resistors? and what do they look like? send me a pic link

@DisRespect187 a good way to sort-of "dampen" your tweeters, or any speakers, is to wire a resistor to each of them. 22ohm 2watt is usually pretty good. my tweeters were waaay too loud so that was my solution.

@SupraKid98 Yea cause I got 4 now and I hooked the new ones back up in the front so now I got 2 in the front and 2 in the back, and it was way to loud so I just unhooked the front 2 again. lol

Yeah, they can get a little loud sometimes, I have two in my doors, one lower by the speaker, and one like right by my shoulder!! lol Goin down the road for a little while with it turned up a good amount, when you get out, your ears ring for a couple minutes!! It still sounds great!!

@quiksilver72601 thats not a bad idea.....
Excuse my ignorance as i'm still fairly new at this sort of stuff. If you install tweeters near the rear of the vehicle, would it not be overpowered by the bass coming from the woofers? How does it sound with tweeters in the back, and is it preferable to install them at the front?

@iChiuBaccA I mean it's your preference. If you ask someone else they may say naw thats stupid to put them in the back or u can't hear them as good. BUT, for ME I like them in the back instead of the front. I'm the type that likes a lil more bass than sound anyway, and I can still ear my tweeters perfectly even when my bass is turned up.

@cjj9477 I hooked mines up to the rear 6x9's, or you could hook them up to the radio like I did my front tweeters.
