Ok, Time for the Gradius master to give some of his tip!!!

OK, so whent you are at the end of the second level (the bubble stage). You can see that there are two hole, one on the sealing and one on the floor. There will be Robots in a bubble chasing you.

Enter the hole on the floor and Voila! Bonus levle!!!

(PS: The robots are comming out from the hole so it hard not to crash in one of them.)

And if you die, you cant go back. And the bonus levle is hard to get thru.

Extra Stage entrances

1) Level 2 - hole in floor

2) Level 3 Part 2 - above where turrets fell

3) Level 4 - under the moai before rotatinf heads

4) Level 5 - in break of ceiling

5) Level 7 - instead of going up to fight Beacon, go through the nook in the wall.

how do u get on this level? i did hard level!

On Level 2, the opening on the floor

On Level 3, when the platform collapses

On Level 4, Behind the easter island head

On Level 5, Halfway thru the level, on top

On Level 7, The little nook goind down  past the gun turrets.

I felt so special when I flew though this level..until the random bubbles came and killed me.. I was like WTF??

I usually use Hawk Wind, Up Double, Twin Laser, Formation or Rotation Option, Reduce Shield, and Full Barrier.

I found this stage on accident the other day.. I thought my game glitched.. hard. XD

My Edit set:

Missile: Hawk Wind

Double: Who gives a fuck?

Laser: Energy or Twin

Option: Fleet

Shield: Reduce

Special: Remaining Life Options (so I don't have to use the Konami Command)

@SuperHeroR Ah. That is where you are wrong. I've tackeled bonus stages with al of the preset weapon settings and a majority of the edit combonations (except for S. Option. It's retarded IMO) and I'm not one of the best Gradius players neither. The trick is simply taking advantage of option and weapon sets.

I don't think the bonus stages are doable with certain weapon set-ups. Regular option, you'd be asking for Death. Also, Double, and Twin are the best in the bonus stages.

@English1stud aye u 4got da last boss bonus stage! instead of fightin Bacterian, let 1 of his purple shots hit u... I think it's da 1 in da middle u gotta let hit u & then u'll get a bonus stage, lol...

Okay, dose anybody think that first part of this OST sound like it could of came from the Crystal Labyrinth from the Arcade version of the game.
