I know right. What is wrong with these people??? Clinton said it best, "Its Arithmetic" Not rocket science. They are hell bent on obstructing this man...He is to much of a gentlemen to be President. Anybody with any measurable intellect can see the economy recovering. Why in the hell would anyone want to return to the same failed policies that got us into this mess in the first place??? WHY???

Where were your elected officials during the 2007-08 government give away at the expense of allot us??? The only, and I mean the only people who benefited from those failed policies were the super rich!! Look at the history of debt ceiling adjustments by congress...are you kidding me!!!!!! A failed policy is something that DID NOT work. 2 yrs Dem congress???? And at least we are catching up to Cuba with a decent health care system...we'll need every bit of 8 years to clean up this MESS!

I didn't elect my rep to go to congress and be a rubber stamp for the president. I want my rep to stand in front of any more attempts to raise the debt ceiling and yell Hell No! The president has no more a mandate then any other elected official. If he can't get the deal he wants than he never had any mandate to get it. He had 2 years with a Democrat controled congress. If it was so damn important; He should have changed the rate then.

I saw a stat that the GOP has used the filibuster almost 400 times in the past 5 years, way way more than the Democrats used when they were in the minority. Crazy!

Its the GOP in the House that are causing the problem...the Presidents agenda represent the true will of the people...he need cooperation from the house...look at the polls 60-65% of those same Americans are shaking their collective heads at this situation. The President has a mandate with the people, its not rocket science

You must be crazy and obviously economically ignorant. That is not to say that you're not a good person, or even a smart one. You actually think that we should tax that returning money at 35%? Then down we go as a country. We are all on the same ship, so down we will go together.

Who are you calling boy! Anyway, is it no wonder the rich keep a lot of their money out of the country. I would do the same. Today I heard that Google has 10 billion sitting in some island country account. Why? Because it's money they earned oversees, and if they brought it back here, the government would rape it. Understand this, that they already paid tax on it in another country, and now to bring it back here it will cost them 35%. Why would they bring it back? Our tax laws are insane.
