@9FORDIE9 just so they can show the record label what the new songs will be like, then the label can decided if and how much money they want to put into recording and marketing the album.

@9FORDIE9 It's just sort of a pre-sample of the track before any serious editing goes on and before release. Sometimes the released version of a track is the same as the demo as they didn' release a new version. I'd assume this is the first edition of the song they did, then made a few changes to it before adding it into the album.

Can someone please explain to me what people mean by "demo"? I feel pretty dumb for asking but what purpose does a "demo" serve? Could somoene with musical know-how or savvy please explain? Many thanks

i have to agree with you although the album version was awesome, i like how raw this track sounds and i actually quite enjoy the heavy vocals towards the end =)
