Crested Gecko Baby

Some video of my new Crested Gecko baby. Shot with a Canon Powershot A620 digital camera in macro mode, with a Raynox 4x macro lens adaptor.
The focus on the image is a very narrow plane, as the depth of field on the macro lens is extremely shallow. Still, it turned out okay I think.

Do you know when they are babys,when they jump.....Could you lose it by that? I mean because i would be scared of it jumping and never getting it back.

Absolutely. When they are babies handle them in a wide open area with no cover at floor level. It's a pain trying to recover one of the little guys from hiding under the baseboard. Once they get used to the idea you aren't going to eat them they calm down. Mine got to the point where I could open the terrarium door and it would jump into my hand.

That's how they lubricate and clean the eyeball.

They don't produce tears for lubrication.
