Song Of Memories - Trailer

Okay, this video is to do with my final story that I wrote with my OC (Original Character) Sophia Moonstone. She's a Wolven (my own created race). And Wolven's are part wolf -- they have wolf ears, tail, claws, and pure black eyes.

Sophia herself has long brown hair and average weight. She is 16 in this story, and stands at 5foot. She's small cause Wolvens have small growing rate. She wears leather jackets, and normal jeans. She usually carries some sort of blade (normally a small dagger).

Only problem in doing my own fanfic trailer, is that I need clips of someone who looks like that.

Which there isn't.

So, I spent about 3 hours looking around Youtube for werewolf movies, and one called 'Underworld' came up during my search. And although the main female character isn't a werewolf, she was more than perfect for an attempt at a trailer.

So, that solved my character. But my story included someone else's character (a friend off Whofic called 'Deathman' (for reason, I can't reveal his real name due to personal things. Which I respect.)) who is called The Dark One.

From a time when our little band of Whoficians went into making book covers, he made one with the Dark One on which helped me to find someone to fulfil that which was needed. So, he was played by the 'Witch-king' from LOTR since I already knew Deathman thought they looked alike.

So, I got the characters sorted, and went into trying to make the trailer.

Its set properly before the story (with flashes of what's to come). This links to the story well, cause Sophia (due to Black Wolf (more info maybe another day)) was dreaming about the Dark One before Rose returned.

And so, it can be taken in two ways. Either the Sophia we see is a dream, of her seeing the events. Or, this is her thinking of the events to come. I prefare the second one though. It matches with the street scene as she looks over it, with the clips of the Doctor and Rose before they we're separated (which are memories) and the clip of the Dark One (which is the dream memory).

It then matches how she runs away at the end. It's a look into the future of her in the story as everything that happened in her dream, is suddenly a reality. Or, it's her running to go find Rose since she's returned.

Depends how you look at it though. I would say reading the story would help to understand why I choose them clips, and why I did what I did. (hint, hint)


This is my first attempt at my own trailer for fanfiction, and my second in making a trailer all together. So it would be nice to hear what you think of my second attempt. ^^

The only thing I would want to improve is putting more voice clips in since well... I never got the chance since it took a while to save this version.


The story plot -- After Rose returns (in another story called 'The Return Of Love') everything seems fine on the TARDIS. It is only when an old foe to another Doctor breaks through the walls of the void, things start to go wrong. By the end of his defeat, someone must die.

Status -- Completed, with its own original ending.

DW fan ficition can be good depend on who you read. Its well worth going to Whofic, and reading some on there. Some brilliant writers on there.

Well, I read the first 22 chapters the other day, finished it yesterday, and now I'm on the alternate ending...great story, man! Wish Sophia could be a real DW character!

Oh, personally, I'm liking the alternate ending better than the actual one. Haven't finished it, but I like the fight scene better. Won't say why, in case someone hasn't read it yet.

BTW, OncomingStorm, it was your trailer that made me want to read your story. You TOTALLY have talent, my friend. Keep up the awesome work!

I've always preaged the alt. ending cause it was the orginal planned one until I couldn't link the ending and middle together. So I had to re-think the idea and I came up with what you've read.
