Hi, I just got a Xenyx 1622USB and I can't get it to work with the USB. I can get it to work through my head/cabinet but just not the USB. Just wondering if you can help me out. I have a iMac OS X 10.7.2 and I'm using GarageBand'11 . When I do plug the USB in, it is being recognized by the computer...I'm just not able to get it to record through the computer.
Could you help me out? Thanks!

..,,And the male end into the first channel of mixer".Giggity!
Hi, i am planning on buying a Behringer XENYX USB Mixer. Is the USB function in the mixer capable of only sending a stereo output via USB to the computer or can it also receive a stereo input from the computer for playback during recording. Because here you connect the monitors to the 3.5mm socket output of the computer.

@vishwamaggarwal Correct, the intended function of the USB port is to output a stereo mix. :)

Hi, I was looking into buying a USB Beringher desk. I would be using it to record using logic pro 8. Just wanted to check that the USB would allow me to record each separate channel on the mixer onto it's own unique track on Logic, allowing me to mix everything separately on the computer...?

@1234fando Unfortunately our USB mixers output a stereo mix and not individual tracks --more suited to overdubbing than recording a live band.
If you need output of discrete tracks, you'll need a multitrack recorder OR a Firewire interface. We don't QUITE have what you're looking for yet, but when the UFX1604 and the X32 debut in 2012, you may find them very interesting.
