@Amlef808 ah common it was pretty awesome anyways
-
that was sooooo awesome!!!
-
the drums ruined it
-
great job. Unfortunately, the drum set kinda overpowered everything else : \
not sure if it was just camera's mic(which often pic up a lot of drums opposed to anything else) or if it indeed the drummer.
either way, nice performance. very creative :)

We're doing this too! Except our version is a mallet quartet of xylo, two marimbas, and bells. Did you add in parts to accomodate a larger section, or am I confusing our pieces? 'Cause ours sounds similar. Going from 3/8 to 5/8 and the 3/4 bit in the middle. And the coda and everything. So hm.. I'm curious. May just have to steal some of your creative touches though! We'll be doing ours in a few weeks; I'll be sure to tape it & get it up online for you to see. Thanks for showing! =)

very creative. i like that alot! :)
good job..
It might've just been the camera or something, but you didn't seem to pay a lot of attention to the dynamics.
Also, isn't it kind of wierd that the marimba 1 part is being played on a marimba with two people versus the other one-guy playing marimba 2? m1 should've had his own.. maybe it's just me..

Thanks for your comment. We can't afford a 2nd marimba, so that's why the 2 parts were put on our sole marimba. :)
