Possible complications and the importance of expert delivery care for a baby with Gastroschisis. Presented by Linda Hopkins, MD, and the UCSF Fetal Treatment Center. More info at http://fetus.ucsfmedicalcenter.org/gastroschisis/
There are two ways or so to do everything. Most Gastro children like my own are going to be born early anyway because our childs insides are baking in moms fluid that they are breathing living on. You or Doctor have no idea if your child is extreme right (Organ failure or borderline transplant) or Left (requiring sewed up after siloh, and your home with baby in two to 4 weeks). We had a 7 month stay at NICU, and brought home RN nurse, Pumps for 24/7 care at home.
How is your baby now? I've just found out about our unborn 5 month old having gastroschisis. Are they still on the pumps? Will this be permanent?
