How can I build trust w/an BADLY abused BEAUTIFUL cat? The cat has NO tbl. w/my wife,so I assumed that the abuse was from a man...Any ideas?

I have always seen myself as a cat person, I think i prefer cats because of the purring sound and the fact that I don't have to walk them everyday, he he....But I love dogs aswell...I have a bengal cat and I feel that he is almost like a dog in some way...Very social and love to play catch :p ...Everytime I see a show comparing dogs and cats they always say cats only lay around and sleep, but my cats(bengal and birmans) are super social, playfull and love people..They do sleep, but so do dogs :)

My cat Slinky sits on my dog Casper in the winter. I love cats and im going to be a cat vet after I go to collage:)

My girls, Kenai Marie & Haley Ann were a matching set. Twin markings. Kenai Marie was a 75lbs Lab/Ridge back and Haley Ann was a domestic short hair. They were sisters and the best of friends. I miss them both terribly still (Kenai passed 7 years ago and Haley 2). My life was never more balanced than when I had both their energies in it.

I just call myself an animal person, not any specific one. I love cats, I love dogs, I love ferrets, guinea pigs, snakes, turtles, pretty much anything. ^^
